                            ORDINANCE NO.    10548  
        
        
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO AMEND ARTICLE V, SECTION 504 AND ARTICLE
                   VII, SECTION 107 (8) RELATIVE TO PERMITTING
                   OUTDOOR AMUSEMENT FACILITIES IN THE C-1 HIGHWAY
                   COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, 
the
         Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
              	   SECTION 1.	  That Article V, Section 504 be amended
         to add Section 504 E. as follows:
        
                   E.	Miniature golf courses and similar
                        outdoor amusement facilities.		
                  
         	   SECTION 2.	  That Article VIII, Section 107, be
         amended to delete Section 107 (8) in its entirety and 
substitute
         the following in lieu thereof:
                   (8)	For miniature golf courses and similar
                        outdoor amusement facilities in the C-1
                        Highway Commercial Zone, the C-2
                        Convenience Commercial Zone, and the C-4
                        Planned Commercial Center Zone. 
                        Applications to the Board for a Special
                        Exceptions Permit for these uses shall be
                        accompanied by a site plan showing the
                        following information:
                       
                        (a)  Size and location of all buildings
                             and structures;
                        (b)  Parking facilities;
                        (c)  Ingress and egress points; and
                        (d)  All adjacent land uses.
                       
        
         	   SECTION 3.	  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this
         Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its 
passage
         as required by law.
